From November 2010 to April 2011 Carl is teaching a 6-month series of Enneagram Study Groups (ESGs) in Ashland, Oregon. They are being held on the first Wed. of every month at the Hidden Springs Wellness Center. We are focusing our study on the Passions and Virtues, and the importance of the Heart Center, and are using Sandra Maitri’s The Enneagram of Passions and Virtues as our textbook. 15 students are in attendance. This is designed as the first of three such series, comprising a 2-year advanced training in Enneagram theory and practice. Series Two begins in Sept. of 2011, and will be open to new students if space permits. The theme will be the Nine Fixations or Chief Features and the corresponding Holy Ideas.

From March to August 2010 Carl taught a 6-month series of Enneagram Study Groups (ESGs) in Mt. Shasta, CA. They were held on the third Thursday of every month from 7-10 pm at his home, and 10 students attended. The focus was on the Passions and Virtues.

On April 24th, 2010 Carl taught the workshop “Coping with Stress in Difficult Times: Using the Enneagram to Access Inner and Outer Resources” in the Gresham Room of the Ashland Public Library.  Forty-nine people were in attendance, and once again we looked at how each of the nine Enneatypes responds to and recovers from stress. We focused especially on the difficult emotional and financial times many of us are living through due to Earth changes, the economic recession, and other factors. This was the second of Carl’s free "Pay it Forward" workshops.  Another will take place near Sebastopol, CA on May 15th, 2010.

On Jan. 23rd 2010 Carl taught the workshop “Coping with Stress in Difficult Times: Using the Enneagram to Access Inner and Outer Resources” at the Flying Lotus Movement Center in Mt. Shasta.  Thirty-five people were in attendance, and we looked at how each of the nine Enneatypes responds to stress. We focused especially on the difficult emotional and financial times many of us are living through due to the recession, as well as other social, environmental and planetary changes. This was the first of the free "Pay it Forward" workshops.

There was a weekend Enneagram workshop at the Spiritual Enrichment Center in Redding, CA on July 11th and July 12th 2008.  The topic was "The Enneagram of Relationship: Understanding Others and Discovering Points of Contact." The Friday evening talk was free and open to all. 

Carl taught a series of Enneagram workshops in Ashland, Oregon.  We met one Sunday a month for nine months (September’07—May ’08) in order to explore each of the 9 Enneatypes in depth.  Participants signed up for as many as they desire to attend,and discounts were available for those who registered for multiple workshops. 

There was a weekend Enneagram workshop at theSpiritual Enrichment Center in Redding, CA on Feb. 8th, 2008 (7-9 pm) and Feb. 9th 9-6 pm). The Friday evening talk was free and open to all. 

Carl taught the Enneagram to Hospice of Mt. Shasta in November 2007, and at the California Institute of Integral Studies in San Francisco in December 2007. 

Carl published an article in the Oct/Nov ’07 edition of the Ashland magazine Sentient Times: Alternatives for Personal and Community Transformation.  The title is: “The Enneagram of Personality: Frequently asked Questions.”  Read this online (free!).
